End of Year Close Down Notice
The Intelligent Environments team will be taking a well-deserved break over the Christmas and New Year period from 23 December to 13 January. During this time, a skeleton crew will be available to manage service work. While faults will be attended to and resolved where possible, any moves, additions, or changes will be deferred until after 13 January.
To ensure timely equipment deliveries for January, the cut-off date for orders is 16 December. We encourage you to place orders as soon as possible to secure stock availability.
Thank you for your understanding, and we wish you a safe and joyful holiday season!
Staff Xmas Function
This Thursday, 5 December, the entire Intelligent Environments team will be gathering for our annual Christmas celebration. As a result, we will be unavailable throughout the day. Our theme this year is Power Rangers – can you guess who’s who? 😉
We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause and assure you that all emails will be responded to promptly on Friday, 6 December. Thank you for your understanding!
May the power protect you.
Illuminating Hospitality How Adaptive Lighting & Smart Control Transforms Venues
Lighting control in hospitality venues is more than just a functional necessity – it plays a pivotal role in shaping the guest experience.
From the welcoming ambiance of a hotel lobby to the intimate atmosphere of a fine dining restaurant, lighting can set the tone, influence mood, and even impact how food and drink are perceived.
When considering Building Control Systems, you will likely be considering a DALI system.
DALI (Digital Addressable Lighting Interface) is a widely used protocol for lighting control in commercial buildings and in 2020 was adopted as the lighting control standard for Australia and New Zealand (AS/NZS62386).
In the blog below we run through the benefits of using either (or both) a wired DALI-2 or wireless DALI+ system.
Further we look at the even greater capabilities of a DALI system when zencontrol’s advanced software and other technologies are included.
Building Connections for a Great Cause: Movember Breakfast Success
The Intelligent Environments team recently co-hosted a Movember Breakfast with the Rosebank Business Association and Bunnings Trade to raise awareness and support men’s health.
Held alongside Bunnings Trade's 10th Anniversary, the event brought together our Auckland team, clients, and industry partners for meaningful conversations and networking.
A special shoutout to our controls specialist, Tim Coomer, who won the Most Manicured Mo award! Thank you to everyone who joined us to champion this important cause!
